Hybrid cars save gas because they use less to run, often in conjunction with other components like electric, solar or battery power. It is debatable whether or not hybrid cars save money in terms of fuel costs and inflation, but the mechanisms are designed to ensure less consumption while keeping a reasonable tally on emission rates.

So, just how do hybrid cars save gas? This is a good question and a rather complex one because different systems use different technologies in their cars, kind of like a testing ground for future hybrid car development.

As fuel stocks are believed to deplete globally, it’s in everybody’s interest to sustain relatively better and cheaper methods of transport. As transport is the driving force of most industry, when times are good, it makes sense to begin relying on more indigenous power sources, as opposed to imported fuels, more expensive on the atmosphere as well as the pocket.

Most hybrid cars combine fuel for propulsion as well as conjoining newer advanced ways to ‘harvest’ power. With electric models now widely regarded, this storage means that technology on board as well as off board, allows for longer drive times; and with less charging, the get up and go that’s always been essential to the joys of motoring, is sustained to its maximum.

Although, Hybrid cars save gas by combining other natural resources to power vehicles, real hybrid cars are advancing at a rapid pace to consider complete conversions, whereby, electricity and bio-fuels like rapeseed oil, will fuel cars in the future, the objective being that, there will inevitably be less reliance on fossil fuels.

Indeed, some argue that nothing will replace the real power of fuel propelled cars, yet, it’s only an assessment and as technology advances, the actual results are yet to be seen.

It’s no secret that the motoring legends of the illustrious sports car industry are moving with the times, by introducing their own model of hybrid sports car. Worldwide, fuel efficient vehicles are taking center stage, while only those living a more luxurious lifestyle; contemplate the hybrid sports car.

Reportedly, Toyota first led the way onto the hybrid sports car platform, advancing with the “Prius” where, due its success, the way was paved for them to develop their hybrid sports car range; including the announcement of the “Priapus” believed to reach 60mph from a stop in just over 4 seconds. Sleek and slim-lined, it’s very much a hybrid sports car.

Certainly, flashier brands like Subaru and Mazda are not far behind, with contributions to the hybrid sports car; leaving a significant mark on the motoring world. The Mazda ‘Miata’ incorporates some of the world’s most state of the art technology; elevating its engine to include Japanese hybrid systems in transmission and other areas, eliminating idle time, while performance and efficiency remain standard.

Subaru, on the other hand, with its B9 SC “Scrambler” has evolved all wheel drive systems, good in the sense, that Subaru is a classic rally car. As it produces its own hybrid sports car models, Subaru is leading the way with its lithium ion batteries and other components for the hybrid sports car.

Indeed, Honda and Toyota still compete with the bigger name brands. With the Mazda MR2 and Honda CRZ as classic examples that manufactures are taking the hybrid sports car infrastructure and running with it.

As for 2009, while SUV’s are still a popular option, the emphasis is definitely on cost effectiveness and although not everybody will have a hybrid sports car in their drive, they are likely to have a hybrid model of some description.

With so much scientific might going into the entire area of green technology – green vehicles, without doubt are the forefront driving force behind the latest advances. As a global economy we are increasingly aware of our need to do more to help protect the environment which we live, and so, from that perspective, its good that green vehicles are been developed and tested.

Practically, every new car coming off the assembly line is manufactured and advanced with green vehicles in mind. Indeed, given a decent selection of models to choose from, those advertisements that state their brand is greener etc, seems the way of the future. Especially, as smart cars are becoming a popular choice on the sales floors, so that, eventually you will be hard pressed not to find sleeker models.

As fuel economy is the biggest deciding factor, from Acura to Aston Martin, the other significant aspects to green vehicles are the conditions in which road users operate. These can be the weather for example, or the amount of air conditioning used; as well as the ordinary driving practices and maintenance habits.

The electric or frequently regarded ‘hybrid car’ is produced within specific green vehicles protocols. Indeed, the name ‘Green vehicles’ is already a company in operation and a leading developer that’s proud of the sleek freeway motors and rugged working electric green vehicles made; with more engineers on line to assist in the change from fuel to economy efficient green vehicles.

It is an exciting time in the motor industry as green vehicles technology surpasses all other motoring developments. This can be seen with the smart car – or smart motorcycle car like the Clever & Carvers tilt contraptions- designed to give the feeling of leaning as a motorcycle but with the full roof system of a car.

It’s not commonly known that hybrid technology is at an advanced stage, actually over 100 years to be precise. The best hybrid cars, especially in association with the newest models, began their journey back in 1909 when ‘Henri Pieper’ – a German born inventor, patented the first US hybrid.

As global car manufacturers embrace hybrid technology, it seems definite that competition is very much on, particularly regarding cars battery powered technology.

Certainly, considering the smart cars that look likely to be a permanent fixture, on charge outside that coffee shop, well into the future; the best hybrid cars for battery advancement are well and truly in operation, from taxi’s to the general motoring public.

Of course, with new technological advances, there’s those urban myths to consider – and the fact that the best hybrid cars are adopting battery operated systems, leaves the question about the safety of their charges – quite literally, with over 1 million hybrid cars already on US roads, there’s concerns: from less sound being detrimental to blind people, to pacemakers being set off. Judgements are yet to be set.

The best hybrid cars already fully utilise the name brand and run on part gasoline and part solar or battery power. In relation to exclusive car pars, such as, the best hybrid cars batteries and smart generation of power, each manufacturer; naturally, is vying for podium position when it comes to producing the best hybrid cars.

In the manufacturing of the best hybrid cars, Toyota plans (secretly) to develop solar cells for the roofs of their models, which they admit, is still years off exact precision, while GM are adding new dimensions to their best hybrid cars.

As for the best hybrid cars makes and models, while the competition is surely set, it’s thankfully still very much a personal option.
